With a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency,we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team.Job DescriptionAs a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasingflooring products and materials from local and international suppliers to meet our inventory andproject demands.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support operational goals.• Evaluate risk, assess, prepare forecasts, scenarios and other factors concerning the supplymarket,• Provides research and input into the financial sourcing aspects of contracts and calls fortender when information is not readily available• Leverage the organization’s buying power to optimize costs, access new suppliers, reducelead times, and guarantee supply• Source suppliers of flooring materials and negotiate purchase agreements.• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.• Review quotations, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with companystandards.• Prepare and issue purchase orders and maintain procurement records.• Liaise with shipping and logistics providers to coordinate timely delivery.• Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to align inventory with demand.• Analyze market trends and pricing to secure cost-effective purchasing.• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.Qualifications• Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, supply chain management, or a relatedfield.• 2–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in construction or flooring-relatedindustries.• Strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.• Familiarity with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.• Knowledge of international sourcing, customs documentation, and logistics is a strongasset.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.How to ApplyPlease send your resume and cover letter to carltonflooringca@gmail.com with the subject line:Procurement Officer Application – [Your Name].
